A 34yr old man named Ben was shot dead by his friend Kwame Dankwa yesterday at 8:30 in Aprede a town in Okere District in the Eastern Region.
Following the incident the two were said to be gambling were both won ghc5 but when Ben ran away with the money, Kwame became angry.
Later on, Ben decided to return Kwame's share of the money was advised by a woman not to return to the house since Kwame is waiting for him with a gun but Ben brushed it aside saying Kwame would never hurt him upon nearing the house,Kwame a bar owner spotted Ben,raised his gun ,and shot him twice in the chest.
The sound attracted people to scene and rushed Ben to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. Kwame has been arrested with investigation still ongoing and the body has been sent to Mampong hospital.
